I don't think I've blogged since I changed laptops...
Anyways, its officially HSC. I don't even know how I got here or what I'm even doing. In my head, year 12 was the year I would start doing stuff but its true that you don't necessarily change overnight randomly, which explain why I still don't have this studying thing under the bag.
After Paper 1, AOS, I've decided that no matter how much I wanna finish notes or have practise essays and do timed practises for them all, its not realistic with my time frame. Although, I have half moped about all my content exams in the first week, its finally time that I force myself to be positive.
It's so surreal that Discovery is now over. I feel like I didn't even do it properly yet, its already done. There are so many sheets I never read and will never read and I'm starting to realise that sadly, what I would like to do before the exams are unrealistic so I just have to do the best I can possibly in the time frame and work on my mindset.
Just from these last few weeks and today in particular, Ive really realised how fortunate I am to have the community surrounding me and supporting me. Everyone says HSC doesn't matter, yet it doesn't change the fact that it's like something you work your whole year on and watch so many people struggle through each year. As much as I initially expected myself to suddenly shift and gain a work ethic and become a genius, that never happened and I'm glad in someways that I've been able to realise no matter how crap I go, its all part of God's plan and that life won't go as smoothly as you plan it.
I'm thankful I have no plans to become a doctor or a lawyer or anything like that but I really wanna make the most of these next few weeks to just see, if I can be positive; see if, I can embrace and accept the fact that life is not perfect and nothing goes the way you plan.
Regardless, today is 1 exam down, 2 hours ticked off, one step closer to the end!
